The Water Damage Line

Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 12, 2026

The Water Damage Line ("we," "us") is operated by 12P Ventures LLC dba Barracuda Media Group. The Water Damage Line is a referral and advertising service that connects consumers with independent water damage restoration providers and partner networks. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

When you call us: your phone number, call time and duration, call routing details, the page and advertising source that led to your call (such as campaign, keyword, device type, and click identifiers like GCLID), your approximate location, and — where permitted by law and disclosed on the call — call recordings.

When you visit our pages: standard web log and analytics data such as IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, and the advertising parameters in the page URL.

On-page checks/quizzes: unless a page expressly states otherwise, answers you enter into our on-page situation checks are processed in your browser to show guidance and are not transmitted to our servers.

How we use information

We use this information to route and connect your call with independent service providers or partner networks; to measure and improve our advertising; to detect spam, fraud, and abuse; to document call quality and resolve billing disputes with providers and networks; and to comply with legal obligations.

How we share information — and compensation disclosure

We are compensated by the independent providers and partner networks that receive calls we connect. We may share call data and related information with: the independent provider or partner network your call is routed to; call-tracking and telephony platforms (for example, our call-tracking provider); analytics and advertising platforms (for example, Google); and professional advisers as required. We do not sell your information to unrelated data brokers or marketing list resellers.

Your privacy rights (California and other states)

Depending on your state, you may have the right to know what personal information we have about you, to access it, to correct it, to delete it, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information as those terms are defined by laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA). Routing your call to a provider or network that compensates us may qualify as a "sale" or "share" under some of these laws.

To exercise any right, including Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information: email support@barracudamediagroup.com with the subject "Privacy Request." We will verify your request and respond within the time required by your state's law. We do not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

Cookies and analytics

Our pages may use cookies, session storage, and similar technologies for analytics, advertising measurement, and (if enabled) advertising audiences. You can control cookies in your browser settings. Where we use Google advertising or analytics services, Google's use of data is described in Google's own policies.

Call recording

Calls may be recorded for quality, matching, tracking, and dispute documentation where permitted by law, and recording is disclosed before or at the start of recording where required. If you do not consent to recording, end the call.

Retention

We keep call records and related data only as long as needed for the purposes above — typically for the duration of our dispute and accounting windows with providers and networks and any period required by law — then delete or de-identify it.

Children

Our services are directed to adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Changes

We will post any changes to this policy on this page with a new effective date.
